Growing renewable Skills in the installation sector

RESkill4NetZero is a co-funded EU project tackling one of the most urgent challenges in Europe’s energy transition: the shortage of skilled workers in the renewable energy sector.

The project is dedicated to equipping Europe’s workforce with the skills needed to drive the renewable energy sector forward. To achieve this, it focuses on five key areas: creating clear career pathways, developing smart and flexible training, offering EU-wide recognised qualifications, and fostering stronger industry connections.

The Installers’ Summit 2025 conference “Growing Renewable Skills in the Installation Sector” will showcase some of the project’s key advancements and provide a platform to exchange feedback and best practices.

During the event, the consortium will present the progress made in developing a renewable skills strategy and open a discussion on the Renewable Energy Alliance that the project aims to develop as a step toward ensuring the project’s long-term sustainability. This will be the opportunity for EuropeOn and GCP members to exchange ideas with the consortium partners and other attendants.
